Day 1 - Anchorage

Upon arrival, please claim your luggage and transfer to your hotel in downtown Anchorage

Day 2 - Anchorage to Denali National Park

Enjoy a luxury dome rail trip to the heart of Alaska Denali National Park.

Day 3 - Denali Park Sightseeing and onto Fairbanks

Today travel some 60 miles into the wilderness of Denali National Park and the heart of bear country. On the fully-guided Tundra Wilderness Tour, you'll get interpretation from your driver/guide, along with 6 to 8 hours of wildlife spotting and spectacular scenery. If the weather cooperates, you'll see Mount McKinley up close.

Watch for moose between headquarters and Savage Campground. Look for caribou anywhere above treeline. The tip of Mount McKinley first comes into view at Mile 9. You'll ride over high mountain passes and usually see Dall sheep on the mountainsides. With just a bit of luck you'll spot one of Denali's grizzley bears too.

This afternoon board your luxury dome rail car to Fairbanks.

Day 4 - Fairbanks to Coldfoot

Tour to Prudhoe Bay

Depart by tour van, and make a stop at the Arctic Circle Trading Post at Joy. Then continue traveling north along the rugged Dalton Highway. Experience the mighty Yukon River. Marvel at the majestic beauty of the northland's most famous waterway and learn of the river's storied past. Cross over the Arctic Circle and receive an Official Arctic Circle Adventure Certificate. You overnight this evening at rustic Coldfoot.

Day 5 - Coldfoot to Prudhoe Bay

Get up bright and early this morning to continue your tour. Visit the historic gold mining community of Wiseman. Climb through the majestic Brooks Mountain Range and over the Continental Divide at Atigun Pass. Explore up close the amazing arctic tundra of the Arctic Coastal Plain and feel the veins of ice just beneath the surface. Overnight in Prudhoe Bay.

Day 6 - Prudhoe Bay Tour, Fairbanks

This morning enjoy a tour of the starting point for the Trans Alaska Pipeline and Prudhoe Bay. You will also visit the shores of the Arctic Ocean. Return to Fairbanks on a late afternoon flight.

Day 7 - Fairbanks Sightseeing

Enjoy the Sternwheeler Discovery on the Chena and Tanana Rivers. Enjoy lively narration as you view log homes, a trapper's cabin and make a stop at an authentic Athabascan Indian Village.

The El Dorado Gold Mine/ Gold Dredge #8 Tour takes you to a working gold mine. Travel through a permafrost tunnel aboard a narrow-gauge train. Walk through this gold camp and learn about placer mining. Try your hand at panning for gold from the sluice box.

Day 8 - Fairbanks to Anchorage to Cruiseship

Today you will fly Anchorage. Upon arrival you will catch the afternoon coach with direct service to Seward/Whittier with no stops en route. Scheduled arrival is 5:45pm in Seward.. You will be dropped off at your waiting Cruise ship.

Day 1 - Seward / Whittier to Anchorage

Upon arrival, please claim your luggage and transfer to your hotel in downtown Anchorage via coach from Seward/ Whittier.

Day 2 - Anchorage to Denali National Park
