Your skilled Coast Guard licensed captain knows the waters of Twenty-mile River, Twenty –mile Glacier and Carmen River, enabling you to view these remote glaciated areas of the Chugach National Forest. Along the way you should keep an eye out for eagles, moose, porcupine and bears along this beautiful route. Look for beaver lodges and salmon steams. Experience the raw power of log-strewn braided river sections that have carved their way through time into the valley floor. Your local Alaskan guide will share backcountry knowledge, tales from their unique lifestyle and the interpretive facts about this wilderness area. Exclusive Forest Service access permits keep this section of Alaskan Backcountry protected and wild. You will be outfitted with waterproof raingear. Includes roundtrip transportation from Anchorage.
