Alaska’s famous Big Susitna River hosts salmon runs that are the second largest in the state. Depending on the time of year your guide will have you fish the Talkeetna or Big Susitna rivers and their drainages. These are prime fishing areas for the avid angler.
The various species have different regulations and they change each year. In past years salmon fishing up August 1 has been catch and release. Even with catch and release nothing beats the thrill of catching a salmon in the rivers of Alaska.
