Luke is Knightly Tour’s President & Owner and a sixth-generation Alaskan with roots in the travel industry. Luke brings a lifelong connection to Alaska and a passion for sharing the region with others.
“My first job was in the tourism industry in my hometown of Juneau, Alaska. Alaska has always been an important part of my life and it’s a privilege to now lead a company that, for more than 57 years, has helped travelers discover the very best of Alaska, Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest.”
“It’s tough to pick just one favorite region, but I love the Copper River and Wrangell–St. Elias area – the scenery, fishing, and sheer scale of the mountains and wilderness are hard to beat. And as I’ve spent more time in Vancouver and British Columbia in recent years, it’s quickly become another favorite for our family.”
Luke boosts the Knightly Tours Orca Tour as one of his favorite excursions. “It gives travelers a great taste of what makes Alaska special—from Southeast and the Inside Passage to Southcentral and Denali, with incredible wildlife, scenery and experiences along the way.” And he echoes his entire team in reminding travelers to be ready for any kind of weather in Alaska and BC – always pack layers!
When he’s not working, you’ll usually find him traveling with his wife and two kids, golfing, or suffering through another season as a Minnesota Vikings and Timberwolves fan.
