Before joining Knightly Tours, Noel accumulated valuable hands-on experience as a Driver/Guide in Alaska and the Yukon while attending college. He also guided in the Canadian Rockies and along the Alaska Highway. He also served as Product Manager and Product Director for Holland America Alaska Yukon Cruisetours, further solidifying his expertise in the region.

Throughout his career, Noel has developed a comprehensive understanding of the best experiences in Alaska, the Canadian Rockies, and the Pacific Northwest. Among his top recommendations are flightseeing around Denali with K-2 Aviation, wildlife viewing on the Tundra Wilderness Tour in Denali National Park, and a Kenai Fjords boat tour in Seward. Additionally, they highly recommend the historic White Pass Yukon Railroad in Skagway and iconic sites like Moraine Lake in the Canadian Rockies and Butchart Gardens in Victoria, B.C.

A particular favorite of Noel is the Orca Tour, which includes highlights such as Glacier Bay National Park by dayboat and Denali National Park for incredible wildlife sightings. It’s an ideal starting point for building an exceptional Alaska itinerary.

Known for his dedication to promoting local Alaskan experiences, Noel encourages visitors to support family-run businesses, such as Talkeetna Cabins and Salmon Berry Tours, to gain authentic insights into the state’s culture. Additionally, he emphasizes the importance of flightseeing to truly appreciate Alaska’s vast beauty.

Beyond his work at Knightly Tours, Noel has been actively involved in shaping Alaska’s tourism marketing efforts for over four decades, serving on the Alaska Travel Industry Marketing Committee. This unique involvement has allowed Noel to work closely with industry pioneers and government leaders, establishing valuable connections and a deep understanding of the region’s travel industry.
