Day 1 - Arrive Fairbanks
Fly into Fairbanks. Transfer via hotel courtesy shuttle and overnight in Fairbanks, the Heart of the Interior.

Day 2 - Fairbanks Sightseeing and Riverboat Cruise
Today learn how the gold rush affected Alaska’s interior on a sightseeing tour with an included visit to the University of Alaska Fairbanks Museum. Time is available for shopping, walking or dining on your own in the downtown area. This afternoon cruise on the Chena River aboard a sternwheeler and experience the thrill of river travel. Travel back to the time when traditional riverboats plied the waterways of Alaska’s interior during the late 1800’s. (Breakfast Included)

Day 3 - Fairbanks to Denali National Park
Board your luxury dome rail car for a scenic train journey south to Denali National Park. (Breakfast Included)

Day 4 - Denali National Park
Morning is free to explore Denali National Park
This morning the Tundra Wilderness tour will travel into Denali National Park along the Park Road. On tour, you may catch sight of Denali, North America’s highest mountain. Throughout your adventure, you’ll witness incredible scenery and enjoy a narrated history of the park road, keeping an eye out for animals that call this place home such as grizzly bear, moose, caribou, and Dall sheep. A small snack and beverage are included in the tour. Your Tour Director will inform you of the exact departure time. (Continental breakfast and a snack included)

Day 5 - Denali Park to Talkeetna to Anchorage
Board your deluxe motorcoach for the trip from Denali to Talkeetna, a quaint historic village nestled at the confluence of three glacially fed rivers. The village’s name derives from the Athabaskan word for “river of plenty.” It is also the inspiration city for the community depicted in Northern Exposure, the television series.
In Talkeetna board a motorcoach for the journey from Talkeetna to Anchorage. Keep your eyes open for Alaska wildlife roaming the pristine landscape. Mountains, rivers, lakes, flora, and fauna make the trip scenic and enjoyable. The on-board guide will keep you informed of the local history and share tales of the north.
Upon arrival you are transferred to your hotel.
Tonight, share the favorite highlights of the trip with your fellow travelers as you join in a farewell dinner this evening. (Continental breakfast and Farewell Dinner included)

Day 6 - Anchorage departure
Today your tour ends with a hotel courtesy transfer to the Airport. (Breakfast Included)
