    Day 1 - Welcome to Anchorage

    Welcome to Anchorage! Upon arrival, you’ll be met at the airport and transferred to The Wildbirch Hotel, Anchorage’s stylish boutique basecamp. Settle in and enjoy your first overnight stay in Alaska.

    Day 2 - Anchorage to Girdwood

    Drive south along the scenic Seward Highway to Girdwood, following the shores of Turnagain Arm with opportunities for wildlife viewing along the way.     Day 3 - Girdwood

    Spend the day exploring Girdwood, a mountain community surrounded by the Chugach Mountains. Take in the scenery, explore local trails, enjoy resort activities or the Nordic Spa, and experience the relaxed atmosphere of this beautiful Alaska destination.

    Day 4 - Girdwood to Anchorage

    Day 5 - Anchorage to Fairbanks

    Travel north to Fairbanks aboard the Alaska Railroad, journeying through vast wilderness and spectacular Interior Alaska scenery. Keep your camera ready for sweeping views and, weather permitting, unforgettable glimpses of Denali along the way. Upon arrival in Fairbanks, settle into your hotel for the night.

    Day 6 - Fairbanks to Chena Hot Springs

    Travel from Fairbanks to Chena Hot Springs for a two-night stay surrounded by Alaska’s Interior wilderness. Settle into your hotel and enjoy time to relax in the warm, mineral-rich waters, explore the area and experience one of the region’s most unique natural retreats.

     

  • Day 7 - Chena Hot Springs

    Spend the day enjoying Chena Hot Springs, including a visit to the fascinating Aurora Ice Museum with its incredible hand-carved ice sculptures. In the evening, set out on an Aurora Viewing Tour in search of the Northern Lights dancing across Alaska’s night sky.

     
     

  • Day 8 - Chena Hot Springs to Fairbanks

    After your stay at Chena Hot Springs, relax and enjoy the scenic journey back to Fairbanks. Travel through Alaska’s Interior along Chena Hot Springs Road and the Steese Highway, with approximately 1.5 hours of beautiful winter scenery along the way. Upon arrival in Fairbanks, settle into your hotel for the night.

    Take time to explore Anchorage if you have time. Your hotel will transfer you to the airport for your flight home.
