Day 1 – Anchorage
Arrive in Anchorage on your own and pick-up your full-size car that will be your transportation to Fairbanks. (We use full-size cars because they are very stable and can handle your luggage.)
Day 2 – Anchorage / Talkeetna
Drive 115 miles to Talkeetna. Plan to arrive in the early afternoon for a thrilling Jetboat Safari on the Susitna River.
Day 3 – Talkeetna / Denali National Park
Today’s trip covers 150 miles to Denali. Watch for great views of Mt. McKinley, along the way.
Day 4 – Denali National Park Experience and Options
Today enjoy the Tundra Wilderness Tour that travels deep into the Park. There is also time during your stay to schedule your personal exploration of the Park. Click Here for all the possible tour options you have to customize your stay in the Park.
Day 5 – Denali National Park / Fairbanks
There is plenty of time for more park activities, as today you drive only 125 miles to Fairbanks over the George Parks Highway.
Day 6 – Fairbanks Sightseeing
This morning you may want to drive to the Eldorado Gold Camp to look at the mining history. Your tour this afternoon is aboard the sternwheeler riverboat Discovery. Included is a stop at an Indian village and a sled dog demonstration.
Day 7 – Fairbanks
Tour ends upon returning your vehicle to the Fairbanks airport.
