This vacation begins by traveling over the Dalton Highway, made famous by the reality show “Ice Road Truckers”. This wilderness road offers spectacular views of the Brooks Range, the Yukon River and wildlife. The trip includes a visit to the historical gold mining town of Wisemen and an overnight in Coldfoot; North America’s most northern truck stop. After crossing famous Atigan Pass, you will travel the Arctic Slope for the second overnight in Prudhoe Bay.

Day 1 – Arrive Fairbanks
Transfer to your hotel.
Day 2 – Fairbanks to Coldfoot
Depart this morning by van over the Dalton Highway to the Yukon River. Cross the Arctic Circle at Milepost 115 and receive an official Arctic Circle certificate.
Day 3 – Coldfoot to Prudhoe Bay
Today you continue north on the Dalton Highway and visit the town of Wiseman. Next you cross through the majestic Brooks Range to the famous North Slope of Alaska. The Arctic Coastal Plain is home to one of the world’s largest caribou herds.
Day 4 – Prudhoe Bay to Fairbanks
Visit the Prudhoe Bay oil fields and complete the journey by dipping your toe in the frigid waters of the Arctic Ocean. Return to Fairbanks by air. Return to Fairbanks by this evening.
Day 5 – Fairbanks
Tour ends upon check out of your hotel today.
