Backcountry Jeep and Canoe Safari

3.5 Hours

From $164 per person + $15 Tax

Take control of a 4WD Jeep Wrangler® and wind your way through the rugged back roads of Revillagigedo Island. You’ll join traveling companions in groups of four and begin the Jeep® adventure into the mountainous roads of the Tongass National Forest. By means of two-way interactive radio, your group leader and guide provides informative insights along the way. Stop for fantastic views, photo opportunities and to rotate drivers. The Jeep® portion of your tour concludes with your arrival at Lake Harriet Hunt. Here you’ll grab a paddle and join your companions in a 20-passenger Indian-style canoe to navigate your way to the other side of the lake. A remote camp is base for a hearty Alaskan snack of chowder, smoked salmon and other fare. Enjoy a short narrated transfer back to downtown Ketchikan. Don’t forget your camera and driver’s license!

NOTE: Drivers must be at least 25 years of age, have a valid drivers license in their possession and sign a liability/insurance waiver. Minimum weight is 40 pounds to fit into life jackets while canoeing. Tour may operate in reverse sequence.
