Day 1 – Calgary / Banff

Arrive Calgary and transfer to Banff for the evening.

Day 2 – Banff

Today is free to explore Banff on your own. Maybe you will ride the Gondola or visit the original Banff Hot Springs.

Day 3 – Icefield Parkway Tour

This full day sightseeing tour travels through a landscape carved by glaciers and opened by pioneers. The tour begins with a stop at world famous Lake Louise. It then continues along the Icefields Parkway which is rated as one of the most scenic highways in the world. Marvel at glaciers remaining from the last ice age while you hear stories of early explorers who opened the valleys. Enjoy an alpine picnic before visiting the Athabasca Glacier and Columbia Icefields Centre. Join an Explorer and travel onto the glacier or explore the interpretive centre and surroundings. A picnic lunch is included. (L)

Day 4 – Banff / Kamloops

Board the train and begin a two day journey to the coast tracing the steps of the first rail line in Canada. Today the highlights will be traveling the Spiral Tunnels, visiting Craigellachie where the golden spike was driven linking Canada from coast to coast. Your car attendant will keep you informed along the way of all the sights. Breakfast and lunch will be served at your seat. (B,L)

Day 5 – Kamloops / Vancouver

Continue on the Rocky Mountaineer through the Fraser Canyon and enjoy the spectacular scenery. Arrive in Vancouver in time for dinner. (B, L)

Day 6 – Vancouver

Enjoy a full day tour of Vancouver, 6-hours.  This tour features the North Shore, Stanley Park, Vanier Park and the University. The rest of the day is free.

Day 7 – Vancouver / Seattle

Enjoy the full day in Vancouver. Late this afternoon, depart Vancouver. Your tour ends with your checkout today. If you are sailing from Seattle, ask us about transfer options to get to your cruise ship.
