Day 1 – Anchorage or Fairbanks
Arrive on your own and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2 – Anchorage or Fairbanks / Denali National Park
Transfer to the rail depot this morning and depart on the Luxury Dome railcars for a scenic trip to Denali. Arrive at Denali National Park in the afternoon. Spend the night in the Denali Park area.
Day 3 – Denali National Park
Backcountry Adventure – Today is spent on an extended wildlife tour that takes you 95 miles through the Park to Wonder Lake and the Kantishna area. Watch for caribou, Dall sheep, bear, moose and a view of Mt McKinley. Lunch is included and you will have a couple of hours to hike, pan for gold and explore the wilderness.(L)
(Return by air for an additional $300 per person.)
Day 4 – Denali / Fairbanks or Anchorage
The morning is free for optional rafting, jeep safari or other tour options. Click Here to view all Denali area excursions. Continue to Fairbanks or Anchorage by rail arriving in either city at 8:30pm. Transfer to your hotel.
Day 5 – Arrangements End
Arrangements end upon departure from your hotel.
