    Day 1

Stunning views of the Alaska Range, ancient glaciers, and towering peaks combine to make this a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. As you fly east along the spine of the Alaska Range, view how the Pacific and North American tectonic plates have collided with each other, creating massive mountainous peaks. View numerous glaciers that have carved their way through rugged backcountry. Take some time to step out into this world of ice and experience a part of Alaska most people never see. Glacier walking boots are provided for your added safety on this tour, during which you will spend 15 minutes on the Yanert Glacier.
