Day 1 Welcome to Anchorage
Welcome to the metropolitan city of Anchorage, Alaska! A John Hall’s Alaska representative greets guests on arrival. Transfer to the luxury downtown accommodations for the evening. Anchorage has much to offer for those who wish to explore. (Dinner Included at your leisure)

Day 2 Glenn Highway & Valdez
After breakfast, board a luxury motorcoach for a drive along the Glenn Highway National Scenic Byway. Following a path carved by ancient glaciers, keep your camera at hand – there is beauty everywhere! Enjoy lunch en route before arriving in Valdez, the “Little Switzerland” of Alaska, home for the next two evenings. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included)

Day 3 Prince William Sound
Join the Stan Stephens family and their fleet of vessels on an escorted adventure into striking Columbia Bay. Surrounded by towering blue ice, it’s a photographer’s dream, watch for sightings of whales, sea otters, harbor seals, eagles, and seabirds. Return to Valdez for dinner and time to explore the town at leisure. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included)

Day 4 Wrangell-St. Elias NP & Fairbanks
After breakfast, explore America’s largest national park! The spacious, luxury motorcoach is perfect for relaxing and taking in the views. Rushing waterfalls cradled between sheer black cliffs, a picture stop, and a dramatic ascent to the top of Thompson Pass take you to the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park Visitor Center. Afterward, continue to Fairbanks. Sleep well tonight, the next few days are packed with culture, history, wilderness, and pups. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included)

Day 5 Fairbanks Sightseeing
Begin today aboard the Riverboat Discovery on a three-hour narrated tour on the Chena River. Learn about Alaska Natives’ ability to live off the land and cope with the extremes of Mother Nature at an authentic Athabascan village. Visit Trail Breaker Kennel – home of the late four-time Iditarod champion Susan Butcher – for an exclusive look at kennel life and a dog mushing demonstration. Stop at Fountainhead Antique Auto Museum before a savory salmon bake and entertaining revue at the Palace Theatre. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included)

Day 6 Gold Star rail to Denali National Park
Board the glass-domed cars of the Alaska Railroad and experience luxury GoldStar service with breakfast served on board during the journey to Denali National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch and time at the Denali Visitor Center. Over the next two evenings, relax at Denali Cabins. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included)

Day 7 Denali National Park
The sun rises early in Alaska, and guests will, too! Depart on the 42-mile bus ride deep into Denali National Park. During the drive be on the lookout for moose, caribou, Dall sheep, wolves, grizzly bears, and of course Mount Denali. After returning to the gates of the park, enjoy dinner at leisure this evening. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included)

Day 8 Denali National Park & Talkeetna
From sunup to sundown, it is a day of spectacular scenery! There is one last chance this morning to enhance the time at Denali National Park with an add on optional activity suited to guests’ preference. After lunch, journey south to Talkeetna and settle into accommodations overlooking the south face of Mount Denali. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included)

Day 9 Turnagain Arm & Anchorage
Start with breakfast before continuing south to Anchorage. Before lunch, visit The Iditarod Headquarters. In Anchorage, enjoy lunch and a trip down Turnagain Arm to see some of the most beautiful sights in all of Alaska before returning to Anchorage. Settle in for the evening enjoy a farewell dinner with fellow traveling companions and tour representatives. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included)

Day 10 Anchorage
Enjoy breakfast, then transfer to the Anchorage International Airport for a departing flight. (Breakfast Included)
